This policy explains how JellyTV processes information through its website, account services, and app-related services. It replaces the previous statement that JellyTV collected no personal information.
Information we process
JellyTV processes information you choose to provide, such as your Apple account identifier, name, email address, profile details, support messages, referral and family membership information. When you use JellyTV+ or account features, we also process purchase, subscription, entitlement, and transaction identifiers needed to provide those features. JellyTV does not provide or host media from your Jellyfin server.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate your account, provide and restore entitlements, manage referrals and family access, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, maintain security, and operate and improve JellyTV. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
JellyTV relies on service providers to operate these features. These include Apple for sign-in, App Store distribution and purchases; Supabase for account and entitlement data; Stripe for web payments; RevenueCat for entitlement verification where applicable; Vercel for website hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring; and Resend for transactional email. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential storage or cookies for features such as sign-in, security, language, and theme preferences. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights provide aggregated website usage and performance information. JellyTV does not currently use the Reddit Pixel or other advertising pixels.
Retention and security
We retain account and entitlement information while it is needed to provide JellyTV, maintain purchase records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention periods vary by record and provider. We use encrypted connections and reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. You can also manage subscriptions through the provider that processed the purchase. To make a privacy request, email help@jellytv.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
